Perfect location, a 5-minute walk to enjoy the wide beach. 2 minutes in the other direction you will find the "sound" where you can visit the Sail Shop, perfect for water sports enthusiasts. Sunsets over the sound are a sight to see while you are here.
Additions for this year include a remodeled living room. ALL of the bedrooms have NEW carpeting. Sirius XM radio system, new flat-screen TVs added, 21 bottle Wine cooler, and much more! Enjoy fishing in the Ocean Surf, the Pamlico Sound, or the Rodanthe fishing pier which is just 2 miles away. Drive either North or South and enjoy some of the best charter fishing on the east coast!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house had everything you could possibly need, and was just perfect for our 5 person group plus my dog. Pool was great, hot tub was great, and it was so nice to have that many bedrooms and bathrooms. Short walk to the beach or the sound, just as described. We would 100% stay here again!

The home was very nice and big enough for all of us. My family enjoyed the pool everyday . Loved how quiet the street was and being on a dead end was a plus for my 1.5 year old grandson to ride his bike. Morning sunrise on the balcony was so enjoyable.

Overall we were disappointed with the accommodations as we had several issues that were outside of our control. The house had a lot of issues upon arrival; first the house wasn’t ready and the check in was at 4 and we didn’t arrive until 6. Upon arrival there was several issues, the back door that was identified as the main entrance did not work and didn’t work all week so we always had to walk to the front of the house for any entry, the primary coffee maker didn’t work, the only TV that worked was the main TV, all the pool sticks were broken and not usable, there was no beach umbrella to use, the pool was too low for the filter to work, not all the bathrooms had hand soap, not enough towels and one bedroom didn’t have the right size sheets. When we called the owner he was apologetic and indicated the previous guest were challenging, although we were sympathetic, this really wasn’t our problem as renters. Essentially for a week that was supposed to be relaxing turned into coordinating or maintaining the house on the owners behalf. We filled the pool with water; carried up Amazon orders, bought supplies, asked to be available for the cable company; or overall went without certain amenities as they didn’t arrive until later in the week and too late to use. Lastly; several smoke alarms would chirp throughout the night in bedrooms resulting in us having to wake up and remove them from the wall. The owner was initially supportive but by the end pushed it on us.
