About this house rental
SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo - Turtle Ct. - Experience peace from the decks of SERENITY COVE while watching the sun sink into the Pamlico Sound. The water views from this home are exquisite as the lot across the quiet cul-de-sac is undeveloped. Enjoy community sound access and stow your watersports gear in the under-house storage. If you prefer to stay close to home, relax at the private pool with poolside Tiki bar, picnic table, and bubbly hot tub. Prepare a poolside lunch in the first level game room/wet bar equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The game room also has a pool table, large flat screen TV and DVD. The lawn is sufficiently spacious (nearly 1/2 acre lot) to toss a baseball or frisbee, kick a soccer ball, and sort out kite lines and gear. Nearby on the first level is a pyramid bunk bedroom and a full bath. The second level is where you'll find four comfy bedrooms - a queen master with full bath and separate shower; a queen master with full bath; and two bedrooms (1 double, 1 pyramid bunk) sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower. The king master bedroom is on the top level featuring a flat screen TV, luxurious garden tub and separate shower. Four out of the six bedrooms provide beautiful sound views with sliding glass doors opening to the second and third level decks. Enjoy morning coffee and sunset view dinners in the top level's great room with wall-to-wall windows. (Fireplace pictured is not for guest use.) Spend your time in the breakfast nook with coffee/wet bar or catch a movie in front of the 55" HDTV home theater system with BOSE stereo surround sound. Come for a visit and escape from it all at SERENITY COVE.

Overall, the house was nice and accommodated our group of two families. Plenty of room and kid-friendly, but pictures didn't accurately reflect the wear and tear of the house/furniture/pool. No welcome kit or information upon check-in and very difficult to reach the rental company. Refrigerator began leaking on first night and had to haul all our food to the basement fridge. Rental company came by a day later to offer a small cooler for our use.
Views were spectacular. Easy drive to public beach access.

The sunsets were awesome. The view of the sound was beautiful. Getting to the beaching was a little challenging., but overall we had a great time with out family.

We enjoyed our vacation but the house needs a lot of love. Floors, walls, bedding and don’t forget the stove!! All the above needs cleaned and a face lift. Stickers do not help when you are cooking. Don’t know what burner is which. Fridge/freezer started going by the time we left and wooden stairs outside need the nails pounded in.
