About this house rental
OCEANVIEW Waves - Sea Vista Dr. - The fictional KOKOMO revealed a tropical paradise in quintessential Beach Boys fashion: as a relaxing place to get away from it all. This KOKOMO lives up to the fantasy. With the ocean just three lots to the east and the sound not far to the west, this six-bedroom/five-full and two-half-bath home is perched on a rarer body of water on Hatteras Island, a lake. Enjoy the privacy this natural barrier provides as you take a dip in the 15’ x 30’ ground-level pool or drift away in an adjacent chaise lounge on the sunny patio. A covered deck provides shade for a cooler respite and adjoins a game room complete with a pool table, smart TV, refrigerator and half-bath. There is also a room with two pyramid bunks on this level with an ensuite bath that the kids will love.
On the first floor there are four more bedrooms — two king masters and two queens — each featuring a Smart TV and access to a covered deck with a six-person hot tub that overlooks the lake. A third king master bedroom with a jacuzzi bath and Smart TV is on the second floor. It opens onto the great room, a spacious gathering place accented by vaulted ceilings and walls of windows where the rising sun streams through in the morning. The very roomy, well-equipped kitchen easily accommodates multiple cooks to whip up beach-favorite meals that can be enjoyed at the eat-at counter or around the eight-seat dining table offering a lakefront view. A large Smart TV anchors the living space, but the place you may find yourself docking the most is in the upper-level tower room or outside on the wrap-around deck where the views in any direction never disappoint. Nothing, in fact, disappoints at KOKOMO unless you miss the weeks you want by not booking it today. (Fireplace seen in pictures is not available for guest use.)

The bed configuration will be changing to three king masters, two queen bedrooms, and a master bedroom with two pyramid bunks. All TVs are now mounted Smart TVs with Renternet services. New kitchenware and upgrades including appliances including an Instapot, slow cooker, air fryer, new dishware, and a new faucet. New home décor throughout elevating the space. Two new arcade games, new board games, and new puzzles. New lighting around the pool area and hot tub.

Great choice for getting together. Large living space with kitchen area that has room for several cooks. We felt connected at meal times. Plenty of quiet space if needed. We loved the close beach, freshwater kayaking and fishing out the back door, pool and hot tub. This home was perfect for activity or screen time. We would choose Kokomo again! Clean. Well equipped.

Excellent, Clean, Organized, Spacious, and Relaxing Space. The only feedback I would provide visitor's is to come fully prepared, as though you are going camping in the wilderness, because the house is a shell with some basics like plates, cups, and beds, but you will need to provide the rest (Such as, not JUST food, but cooking oil, salt, pepper, condiments, ice, food, blankets, pillows, etc)
