We arrived at the house and Massimo showed us the apartment that we were to stay in. At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area.
We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors.
Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok.
What we didn't know and did not find out until we arrived was that the area of Mancaversa only comes to life from June 1st to Sept31st. Apart from those 4 months the place is mothballed with only a handful of residents, with NO internet . The rocky beach area is totally covered in broken glass and millions of ants. We had to travel in our car every day to surrounding towns and cities to be able to walk our dog.
Massimo is a very good guy but the place was just not suitable for the 4 weeks we booked their.
