Villa with private pool, large enclosed garden, beaches 25mn away,10 pers

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at this beautiful house. Communication with the owner was exceptional. Marie showed us around on arrival and was lovely and helpful. The house is very spacious and extremely well equipped. The toys and books for children were great. Everywhere was very clean and it has a lovely homely feel. The garden is beautiful full with flowers, fruit and vegetables which were able to pick and use, they were delicious. The swimming pool is just fabulous, shallow enough for children and also deep enough for adults to swim. The pool was cleaned and gardens were attended to whilst we stayed. The location is fantastic, secluded in a lovely area with great walks. We would love to return here in the future. Thank you.

Beautiful villa with bounteous garden. Very kindly caretaker who responded immediately to our need for fans in the intense heat. Lovely pool for children and adults alike. Interesting area.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, fully-equipped, and comfortable house and garden located within walking distance of the village of Castries. The village has two bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store, and a bank as well as other services. The house is also near the historic Castries aqueduct and a network of walking trails through the surrounding vineyards and forests. The house was clean and well-maintained, and the furnishings included an extensive collection of local tourist and nature guides and maps (mostly in French). The garden has a variety of fruit trees and tropical plants as well as a small fish pond with some very musical frogs. Castries is only a short drive from the autoroute and the large city of Montpellier as well as the nearest beaches.

This property is delightful. I spent a week here with my family(5 adults)over the Christmas period.It was very clean and warm and has everything one could want in a self catering experience.There is ample space and numerous bathrooms to ensure harmony for large groups. The house sits on its own grounds so it’s very private for dining out-doors. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather over the Christmas but we’d love to return again in summer to make use of the pool and see the garden in bloom. I can imagine it would be very suitable for families with young children and there’s a little animal farm next door. The house itself is situated approximately 10 mins walk from the small village of Castries.Castries has a number of bakeries and a large supermarket. There are lovely walks along the nearby Aqueduct and park. It’s about a 25 minute drive to Montpellier and 1 hour to the Camargue region,Arlesand various wineries.There are some restaurants in the local village at mid range price
