About this house rental
This stone house from the nineteenth century is open all year round to meet up with family or friends for a weekend or for a longer stay. It can accommodate 9 people (or even 10 people). It has 5 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and a bathroom.
Completely renovated, this authentic residence will seduce you with its large volumes, its south-facing exposure and its warm atmosphere. Located in the town of La Roquille, in the countryside, on the outskirts of the hamlet, bordered by the Bordeaux vineyards, it has the particularity of being at the gateway to the Dordogne (purple, black, white Périgord...) and the Lot et Garonne, a rich gastronomic crossroads.
Its geographical location will allow you easy and quick access to the town of Ste Foy la Grande to stock up on provisions, its exceptional market on Saturday mornings, its small traders (butchers, bakers, pastry chefs.... and shopping malls), its cinema.
But also you can visit Bergerac (about 30 minutes), St Emilion (30 minutes too), all the Bastides, the village of Duras with its 12th century castle.
Bordeaux, a beautiful city an hour away and a day trip to the Bay of Arcachon.....
For sports enthusiasts, there are also a number of activities nearby. Starting with beautiful hikes from the cottage, canoeing down the Dordogne, Vigiers golf course.....
A visit to the wine estate and a tasting will be offered during your stay.
For your comfort, the kitchen has a large table that can accommodate 10 people, a large gas stove, a dishwasher, a microwave oven. Nearby, the pantry is equipped with a pantry, a washing machine and a dryer. In the laundry room, everything you need for baby and ironing.
A large living room with a fireplace for moments of relaxation, board games, reading, television with foreign channels, live box and a billiards table.
In summer, everything takes place outside, thanks to the private indoor swimming pool (10 x 5 x 1.50), the bowling alley, the table tennis table and the barbecue.
The pool cover allows for maximum safety when staying with young children and also allows the water to be heated naturally.
During the summer period, July and August, rentals are only possible by the week and from Saturday to Saturday.

A great place with beautiful location and amazing facilities that meant we had the best stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Pool was enormous and house better than the photo posted,

Our family had a wonderful relaxing holiday in this lovely, spacious, well appointed villa. We had super weather too which meant that we spent a great deal of time in the fabulous swimming pool and outside area. The villa is well situated for exploring the area and we went to Bordeaux, Duras and the local gourmet markets in St Fou La Grande and Eymet.
I highly recommend this villa for a wonderful family holiday.
