Guadalupe Getaway sits inside Cliff View, a private gated community of 16 homes on River Road with the best rock beach on the Guadalupe. 400 feet of direct river frontage, a deeper natural swimming hole right at the beach, and views straight across to the cliffs where wild goats graze at sunrise. This is the calmer side of River Road — perfect for couples, small families, and groups who want the river without the parking-lot crowds.

THE HOME
Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms (rare on River Road), sleeps 9 comfortably. King bed in the master, one full bed in the second bedroom, two sets of bunkbeds in the third. Living room seats 7. Large covered porch with ceiling fans, big shaded area under the house for cornhole and washers in the summer heat. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, Keurig, BBQ Pit, smart TV with WiFi.

LOCATION AND LIVE MUSIC
Between the 2nd and 3rd River Road crossings — the prime stretch. Gruene Hall (oldest dance hall in Texas) and Whitewater Amphitheater are 15–20 minutes. River Road Ice House is closer. Canyon Lake is 5 miles upriver. Schlitterbahn is 20 minutes. San Antonio airport (SAT) is 50 minutes.

Maximum 9 guests, 4 vehicles. Age 25 minimum for primary booker. This is a family-and-couples property. Quiet hours 10pm to 8am. Bring beach towels (bath and hand towels provided). Additional Parking down the bank on the beach area.

Float Away Vacations also owns Guadalupe Breeze (next door in Cliff View, sleeps 11) and Jus Chillin (next-door community River Road Villas, sleeps 13). Book all three for a 30-person group within walking distance. We also own Barn on the Bay in Palacios Texas for guests adding a coast leg.

Our stay at the Guadalupe Getaway was fabulous. The balcony on this property is GORGEOUS- what a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the river views. The area was generally very quiet, and felt very safe. Thanks for a great stay!!
