About this cottage rental
This cozy cottage is located right in Siskiwit Bay. Steps outside of the wrap around deck you will find the sandiest stretch of beach in this area of Lake Superior. The pathway is also lined with wild blueberry bushes and many protected plants and birds that inhabit the bog area.
The cabin itself is a compact yet efficient design with an open kitchen/living room concept. 2 seperate bedrooms one with twin sized trundle beds. The bathroom is white subway tiles and local cedar planks mixed and matched for a modern north woods feel.
The cabin does not have a source of central heat. There is a brand new fireplace and space heaters - the cabin has been used up to below freezing temperatures and is plenty warm with the fire. The fireplace is wood fired. Wood is provided.
Along with all newly updated kitchen equipment. The floor to ceiling windows are the perfect place to sit and look out to Eagle Island & Romans Point.

The private beach and relaxing screened in porch were the highlights of this cabin. We loved the easy beach access and hearing the sound of the waves while we hung out on the porch. It looks like another cabin is being built close by so take advantage of the privacy of this location while you can.

It's evident that a lot of work went in to this house to make updates. Very clean and had everything we needed. Lovely "private" beach area which chairs and cabana. Quiet neighborhood but easy to find. It got a bit chilly so we made good use of the wood stove. Owner went out of her way to make sure we got a couple of sweaters we accidently left there after checkout. Would recommend if you have a small group [2-4 people]. Being able to bring our 2 golden retrievers was a plus.

Such a gem! Lake Superior, gorgeous sand dunes and beach, kayaking, and sleeping was so pleasant with the cool lake breeze. Blueberry Lane is so sweet. Great location.
