Le Case di Bacco is the ideal place to discover the wonders of the coast, the blue sea between Taormina and Acitrezza, and, of course, to visit the magnificent Mount Etna—just 30 minutes away—Europe’s largest active volcano.

The property is situated on a peaceful plateau overlooking countryside that stretches all the way to the sea.
The farmhouse comprises several completely independent units, with ample green spaces available, equipped with chairs and tables on the lawn—all surrounded by lemon and orange trees, olive groves, and vineyards—offering complete relaxation and absolute privacy. Free Wi-Fi.
“Le Case di Bacco” could perhaps have been called the homes of “Don Alfredo and Donna Maria,” the husband and wife who purchased this plot of land—complete with an old wine press—where they planted a vineyard and later a lemon grove.
Today, the property continues to uphold the traditions of this region—such as the grape harvest, olive harvest, and lemon harvest—offering guests the opportunity to purchase local products like olive oil, wine, and jams.
Its geographical location makes it an ideal destination for those seeking a vacation with the right balance of activities and relaxation—an ideal setting, perfect for visiting romantic Taormina and the bay of Giardini Naxos, for interesting hikes along the trails and through the woods of Etna National Park, and for exploring the many lava caves. We offer jeep tours for breathtaking excursions, including visits to the craters.
Just a few kilometers from Acireale and Catania, where you can admire magnificent Baroque architecture, enjoy granita, gelato, and traditional Sicilian pastries (cannoli with ricotta, cassata, mustaciuoli…), as well as delicious seafood dishes paired with excellent wines in nearby Acitrezza, a picturesque town known for its “Cyclops” rocks—where legend has it that Polyphemus hurled stones at Odysseus—specifically the “Cyclops” rocks in Acitrezza, Capomulini, and elsewhere.
Nearby, you can visit the Alcantara River Gorges, the Saracen-Norman castle of Acicastello, and the recently restored castle in Calatabiano, accessible via a panoramic elevator.

We stayed 5 nights at the open space apartment of Gabriella and Alfio in their beautiful house. It was more than we expected. I think the beauty of this place is much more than one can see on the pictures. The garden is just amazing with all the fruit trees. The fresh eggs for breakfast were lovely and the nice fruit and wine! And our son even got a present for Easter We had an amazing day with Alfio on the Etna Trekking Tour. We can’t wait to come back to this beautiful place. Perfect place if you have a car and want to explore the region. Grazie Gabriella & Alfio

This is such a lovely place to stay on holiday - the surroundings are beautiful and it is peaceful and relaxing. You can see Etna really clearly one way and the sea in the opposite direction, and the grounds of the accommodation are bursting with grapevines, olive and lemon trees, etc. Gabriella and her family are fantastic and made us so welcome. Her son Ricardo is great to help with any language issues. They were very accommodating, always there to help with anything, but never intrusive. Our plane was delayed on arrival and Gabriella's husband came out to look for us, as we were arriving in the dark, even though it was past midnight. They did a fantastic pizza night for everyone staying there one night, making about 15 different pizzas and cooking them in their own outdoor pizza oven, and complimenting these with their own homegrown and home produced wine - all totally delicious. It was a great way to meet the other guests and a really nice, enjoyable night. The accommodation was very clean - the only thing I would caution is to check what you have booked carefully - we didn't and so had booked a one-room (plus bathroom) 'apartment' for 4 of us, which would have been fine if we had had small children, but our girls are 18 and 21, and a separate bedroom would have been better for us - but that was our problem for not checking what we had booked properly. We loved Sicily and would definitely visit again, and we would highly recommend Gabriella and her lovely holiday homes.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Di Bacco! Our room overlooked the garden and pool. Gabrielle and Alfio were fabulous hosts.
