About this cabin rental
A luxury cabin close to Broken Bow Lake touching the National Forest/state park. Amenities: gourmet kitchen with all essential tools, 600 sq. ft. screened in front porch with grill/outdoor kitchen, wood burning fireplace (firewood provided), fiber optic internet, smart TVs in each room with Netflix, Hulu, & Disney+, rainhead shower & whirlpool tub in master bath, paved circle drive, 6 person outdoor hot tub, fire pit, pet friendly, pool table, shuffleboard, books, & games.
By renting with us you confirm you will hold us harmless for any injury resulting from use of the ladder accessing the loft, use of our hot tub, or use of anything else on the property, as they can be dangerous when used improperly.
The space
Our house is about as close to Hochatown State park as you can get! The house is on the NW corner of a .91 acre lot and a complete renovation ended in early 2020. The house is a spacious 1736 sqft, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with a kids/sleeping loft, a 600+ sqft screened in front porch with an outdoor kitchen, and another roughly 600 sqft of uncovered deck space. We have a large circle drive for easy boat access, and a half acre side yard for kids to play (horse shoes!) The yard features towering oak and hickory trees, with a variety of unique, non-invasive flora beneficial to local wildlife. We have a large firepit and provide firewood. The back border of the property aligns with the Ouachita National Forest, which itself connects to the Beaver's Bend State Park Steven's Gap Area (the first access point to the lake.) If you're brave enough, it's about a 1.5 mile hike as the crow flies through public land to get to the lake.
The interior features memory foam mattresses purchased in September 2020, as well as luxury linens: a king in the master bedroom, queen in the guest, and two full beds in the loft. (A Queen blow-up mattress is available upon request.) We have an instant tankless hot water heater, so you'll never run out of hot water. We have a whirlpool bath in the master bath, and a rainhead shower. The guest bath features a shower with a standard sized bathtub. We have the highest speed fiber optic internet offered by our internet provider, and smart TVs in each bedroom and the game room that all have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney +. The kitchen features Frigidaire appliances: a five burner gas cooktop, a double oven, a dishwasher, large refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker. We also have stainless steel Cuisinart pans, cast iron pans, a mini-fridge, a blender, toaster, a full spice cabinet, crockpot, hand mixer, and provide kitchen basics (salt, pepper, flour, mustard, ketchup, sugar, etc.) Coffee is provided. The outdoor kitchen features a cast iron griddle, two burners, a sink, large grill, and a smoker. The outdoor kitchen is connected to the house’s propane system, wood chips are provided for the smoker.
Covid-19: We're currently allocating a minimum of 24 hours between guests, to allow our cleaning staff to arrive after guests leave and finish before guests arrive to ensure social distancing. We're participating in Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Protocol. Our cleaning staff sanitizes high contact surfaces using Lysol.
Guest access
Our garage is off limits, as is the manager's closet in the master bedroom. (But luggage holders are provided!) The entire rest of the house and yard are yours!

Goldie’s had everything we needed and more. Our kids age 13 and 10 loved the loft, game tables and hot tub. We made s’mores at the fire pit and cooked steaks on the grill. We loved the large covered porch and the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped. Located very near the marina where we had a great experience renting a boat for the day. The lake was beautiful and not too crowded even on the holiday weekend. Lots more to do and places to eat less than a mile from the property. Quiet neighborhood, peaceful getaway. Would stay here again!
