This house turned out to be perfect for us. Activities were close enough for the grandchild who is Tim. The ramp was wonderful for the walker in the downstairs bedroom was perfect. We all had a great time. It’s close to all activities and restaurants.

Pictures do not do it justice!! Came out with the family and had an amazing time. The kids enjoyed the projector and the hot tub as did we. Loved the fact that the area was secluded to our own space. Sipping coffee off the back deck looking into the trees was quite peaceful. Cabin had everything we needed, very clean, and absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for the memories!!

This place was a perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. We had everything We needed and the kids loved the movie screen upstairs! The beds upstairs are extremely firm so if you’re not used to that bring your own memory foam. Also if sleeping in the loft it will be very warm up there at night so bring a fan. We went and bought a box fan and it was 40! So bring one from home to save you some money. We definitely loved staying here and loved the privacy of the location.

Great place, but driveway is very steep so I was happy I had 4WD. Pulling a 19ft bass boat up it was a bit scary.That being said I would still recommend this place but you wont get a large boat up the driveway.

This was our second visit to the area and we have absolutely no issues with this place. It was so quiet even though we were minutes away from the highway. The cabin had everything we could ever need and it was so cozy. It was clean and very spacious for all of us (5 adults and our pups). We will definitely book here again!

We really enjoyed staying at Acorn Acres. There’s plenty of room for our family of four. Originally we were going with another family, but they had to back out, so it was just the four of us. There would have been no problem fitting the two families in the three bedrooms. This place is located in a great spot on the north side of Hochatown near the new Maze and Putt Putt place. The cabin looks fairly new. The bathrooms were clean, the linens and towels were clean, and all the dishes were clean. As for the other reviewers commenting on the bugs, it’s a cabin in the woods. You’re going to see a few bugs, it’s inevitable. This place does NOT have a bug problem. Overall it’s a great place to stay to enjoy Hochatown, Broken Bow Lake, and Beavers Bend SP. We would definitely stay here again.

This place had everything we needed…it was amazing to find. The place was bigger than we expected which was so nice for our size. Super easy to get to trails from the cabin and the hot tub was a hit with our kids. The host was very responsive with any needs we had and messaged back within the day. The location was close to entertainment yet totally private surrounded by trees. The cabin was wonderful and fit my family of six nicely with room to spare. The kitchen was overly stocked with everything we needed. The only issue was master mattress was not great but can be over looked. We will be back.

Loved our time at the property. Was beautiful inside and out. Had everything we needed. The only complaint (which is partially our fault for not reaching out) is that the upstairs TV’s did not work. Overall, a great time with lots of space.

We love spending time in the Broken Bow/Hochatown area. This cabin is in a fantastic location! It is secluded in the trees (no cabins right next door), yet extremely close to all the attractions and Beavers Bend. No need to bring any kitchen supplies (other than food of course) as it is fully stocked with every pot, pan, utensil you could possibly need. The hot tub is massive and could easily fit a large family. This is also a pet friendly cabin. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acorn Acres this Spring Break! The directions provided prior to check-in were easy to follow. The check-in procedure was a breeze. The cabin was clean and plenty spacious for our family of 5, plus our dog. I was surprised and impressed by how well stocked the cabin was with paper goods, bath, beach, & kitchen towels, laundry detergent, dish & hand soap, and trash bags. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with most any cooking gadget/utensil you would need! My only 2 minor, and I do mean MINOR, suggestion would be some type of non-slip tread on the steps leading to the hot tub. When they get wet from rain or water from the hot tub they are super slippery. I walked very slowly down them while holding the rail and still slipped. The other suggestion would be to possibly add an additional tv to one of the guest rooms. I realize this is a "first world problem," but it would've been nice to have an additional tv in the cabin for rainy days when we were stuck indoors. The projector upstairs was great, and there was a good selection of mostly older dvds. Again, not a complaint or a deal-breaker in the least, but just something to consider. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. We look forward to visiting again!

Great stay at Acorn Acres. Property was isolated and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was nice. Covered porches are extra big! The family room/eating area/kitchen is a little tight for 7 people but it worked. Sleeping for 7 was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Broken Bow!! This cabin was perfect!!! Kids loved having the upstairs to do their thing in the evenings!! Very comfortable for all of us!! We love to stay in and cook. I travel with all of my items I use to cook, but didn’t need to pull out much at all, as everything already available in the stocked kitchen! We all enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings, taking advantage of the clear sky’s to stargaze! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!!

This property has more positives than negatives. It is beautiful and private. The kitchen is fully stocked. They provide a gas and charcoal grill. The hot tub seems to be new and in excellent condition. The temperature of the cabin set on the owners standard 70 degrees was very comfortable. Overall I’d book this property again. Some of the negative aspects have been in several of the previous reviews. The property is relatively clean but for the cost it’s obvious the cleaning crew does the minimum when prepping the house. There was dust and crumbs. We had to move the couch a bit to accommodate everyone (6) around the table. When we did there was debris and food remnants under it. It would have been great to sit on the porch and visit but it hadn’t been swept and the furniture was soiled so badly it was a turn off. If this were my property and I charged the price we paid I’d definitely have the cleaning crew have the property sparkling.

Loved this cabin and how secluded it was from everyone. The deer and lightening bugs are so fun to watch at night! Super close to the north lake boat launch. Plenty of space. Beds comfy. Hot tub perfecto. Not one but two types of coffee makers. Cool deck. Loved the drop down movie screen upstairs. The A/C was over the top amazing on a very hot weekend. For this to be a pet friendly place we really didn't see any pet hair. Super clean. If you are towing a boat DO NOT attempt to bring up the driveway to the house. Park at the base of the driveway. Fantastic family friendly getaway. Will definitely stay here again!!

The cabin was beautiful and secluded. It had a hot tub, two decks with plenty of seating, and was surrounded with trees. Also, it had most essentials such as: washer, dryer, internet, games, cleaning supplies, cook ware, dishes, silverware, grill with grilling utensils, two fireplaces, two and a half bath, and games. Plenty to do around Beaver Bend. Great local restaurants close by in Houchatown. We had a great time and enjoyed the cabin!!!

We arrived at 3:00 pm to a beautiful, secluded cabin that was exactly as described in the pictures. The log cabin is nestled in a pine forest. It’s private, very clean and it had every amenity one could ask for. The hot tub was so enjoyable after spending a day hiking. We will rent this cabin again and I wish we could give it more than 5 stars!!!!!
