Domus Penna - Piazza del Popolo: Penthouse with terrace

No elevator. So the stairs are a bit much. But a nice place with a small terrace. Many good to great restaurants in the direct area. When turning right exiting the building the first Terrace is the best restaura t. The second one looks nice but arrogant tourists service. Food is ok but not as authentic tic and reasonably priced as the first place. Very friendly!! Across the street the hotel has a lovely terrace as well also friendly and good slightly more expensive. The rental place was comfortable.

The accommodations were exactly as advertised, a charming apartment that was perfect for a week’s stay in Rome. The location was fantastic, with a great selection of restaurants, activities, and shops just steps away. The only minor drawback was the number of stairs, especially with luggage. I counted about 117 steps. That said, it was very manageable for us, even in our 60s, though it’s something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility concerns.The host, Lorenzo, was very responsive and helpful with any questions or additional needs we had. Having access to laundry facilities was a real bonus. As an added highlight, there’s a restaurant right on the street that served the best carbonara I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few!

Very nice place with excellent location. Check in/out is easy and straightforward. Well equipped with everything necessary for the short staying.

The host was very patient with me and very nice. I couldn’t get the stove to function cause I didn’t know how to run it and they came right away to help me. They were so sweet and accommodating. The apartment was beautiful and large and I had a nice balcony to sit out on and dry my laundry. It was fantastic. I will be back.
