Vancouver Downtown city & mountain view 1 bed condo

Loft style apartment in the middle of downtown Vancouver. There is parking for an extra fee if you need to utilize that. In the uber to check in, the uber went in the back alley (as a shortcut I guess) and people were definitely smoking crack back there or attempting to at least. I mean it’s a city, so kind of expected. A little run down in the lobby, and sort of feels like sketchy hotel vibes. However, the actual apartment is nice enough! Water pressure was great in the shower and bed was comfortable. For the two night stay, it was exactly what we needed. Probably can’t beat it for the price point in downtown. (And if you’re staying for longer there is in unit washer and dryer!).

Everything about the property is fine and as listed in the listing. The communication from the property manager could be improved. I inquired about early check in a few days before arrival and they responded a day later that 2pm or 2:30 might be possible depending on cleaning. When we landed in Vancouver around noon I messaged about early check-in that day and received no response at all so we waited to check in until just shortly before 4pm.

Space was great. Condition of unit was not so great. The fan in the washroom was extremely loud. The caulking in the washroom was not good, areas of mold. And there were ants in the bathroom and the kitchen. I don’t recommend for a 2 week stay, but I do recommend for a weekend getaway. Owner was responsive during the stay, but the place really needs some work done.
