Elegant 1-bedroom with bath in a serene natural lakeside setting on an airstrip, perfectly situated for aurora viewing from the yard.
We’re 1.6 miles from the iconic Santa Claus House & North Pole amenities, restaurants, & shops including hardware, auto parts & groceries. Only 15 minutes to Eielson AFB & Ft Wainwright, we are an ideal location for work, relaxation, adventure or all three!
Everything you need and more, including refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and spacious writing desk.
Please take your shoes off when entering the house.
No Smoking indoors. Receptacles for cigarette butts are provided outdoors.
-$500 fine will be incurred if there has been smoking in the unit.
Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 9 am. No more than the authorized # of guests at the house during quiet hours.
No disruptive events or parties. Airbnb guidelines state that if a guest is reported for a disruptive party or violating Airbnb`s party and events policy, they may be subject to suspension or removal from the Airbnb platform. In addition, the host may also ask that you vacate the property and no refund will be given.
Travel insurance is recommended. As with any vacation, unexpected situations sometimes occur that can put a damper on even the best-planned trips. Upon completing your reservation, we will provide you with an optional third-party Travel Insurance policy.
We use a third-party company for guest verification. Upon booking you give permission to the property manager to use a third-party to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation.
Pet Policy: Your reservation will be voided with no opportunity for refund in the case of unauthorized pets. If your dog receives advance approval to stay
- Please keep your dog on leash.
- Pick up all dog waste.
- You may not leave the pet in the unit unattended. You will take your pets with you if you leave the unit.
- Dogs are not allowed up on the furniture or the bed. There will be a $500 excess cleaning fee if there is any dog hair on the furniture or bedding.
Trash Disposal: Please note that there is no regular trash pickup service like what you may be used to or expect in other areas. If you need extra trash disposal during your stay:
- You may bring your trash to the nearby station.
- We can arrange collection for you, subject to availability with fee.

It's a beautiful area with easy access to Richardson Hwy - 15 minutes to Fairbanks, 5 minutes Eielson AFB. Local restaurants and Santa Shop is 3 minutes away. Two options at this location to accommodate small (2 person) or medium (4 person) parties, fitting for any budget.

This was a fantastic Vrbo experience, largely due to the host’s timely and clear communication. From booking through check-out, responses were fast and helpful, making everything easy and worry-free. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We truly appreciated how smooth the entire stay was and would absolutely book again.
