The deck overlooks two sprawling lawns with a grilling area and tons of space for family games and basking in the sun. Claim a chair and enjoy the fresh air, or share meals around the picnic table. Despite the quiet location, Taos Plaza is less than a mile walk away for dining and boutique shopping, while the glittering slopes of Taos Ski Valley are only about 18 miles from your door. This mountainous region also offers endless opportunities for outdoor exploration. For a real outbound adventure, drive just over 60 miles to the stunning Carson National Forest for hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Kit Carson Park is also just more than a half-mile away. This public park has sports facilities, a kids’ playground, and plenty of trees to enjoy the shade with a good book.

My family came to Taos for a short vacation and stayed here. Great place to base out of for Northern New Mexico sights. The house was well equipped and even though it didn’t have an air conditioner, the breeze and ceiling fans cooled the place sufficiently.Great communications with the management company. I would stay here again if I’m ever back this way!
