About this house rental
New vacation rental located in a hamlet, fully renovated with high-quality finishes, offering 120 m² of living space
You enter through a charming courtyard with a parking space
, a garden featuring a stone terrace and a well-exposed wrought-iron arbor.
Direct access to the first floor, which features a beautiful dining room, a half-bath, and a vaulted stone laundry room (with a washing machine and a large fridge-freezer).
Fully equipped kitchen on the mezzanine level, open to the dining room and living room.
Large living room with two sofas, a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV.
Upstairs, there is a shower room with a toilet and double sinks, as well as two bedrooms with 160x200 beds; one of the two has separate bed frames that can be converted into single beds. The upper level is equipped with motorized skylights and a very convenient rain sensor.
A traditional house that combines original charm with modernity; it is also equipped with air conditioning and an alarm system.
THINGS TO SEE AND DO IN THE AREA
The villages of the Luberon: Bonnieux, Goult, Ménerbes, Lacoste, Saint Saturnin-les-Apt, Saignon, Oppède-le-Vieux, Roussillon, Gordes, and Apt (with its lovely Saturday morning market) are about 10 minutes away; there’s also Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, and many others...
The cottage is located near the village of Gargas, one of the Luberon’s ochre-mining villages. Many small shops (bakery, grocery store, tobacco and newsstand, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, doctors’ offices, etc.) are just a stone’s throw away—no need to drive. It’s also at the foot of Perréal Hill, designated an UNESCO reserve, with the GR6 trail running through it—ideal for mountain biking and hiking.

A beautiful gite centrally located in Gargas for exploring the Luberon and Vacluse regions. Wonderfully renovated with all the comforts of home. Owners are welcoming and helpful. The gite has a view of the Luberon mtns, a garden patio, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and living room. Highly recommended for short or long stays.

The property was tastefully restored and very comfortable even though it was on 3 floors. You can park your car in front under a shade. It’s close to many beautiful villages. It was easy to communicate with the owner whom with her husband reconstructed the whole building. Amazing when you the pictures. Overall a very nice stay.

We very much enjoyed our ten day stay in this property in Gargas. It is an old building thoroughly modernised and decorated with great taste, while remaining very comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. The village has good amenities while being 5 minutes drive from Apt. Plenty of walks, beautiful views and good restaurants are close by. A perfect stay! Thank you.

Superb renovation of a period property. This was a return visit for us. The gite was as lovely as we remembered it. Very clean, with every consideration given to guests comfort and convenience. The hosts are great and we felt very welcome not withstanding the language barrier.
