About this house rental
Our custom built 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 4,400 square foot residence (Bostonado Lodge) was built in 2023 and is located within Purgatory Resort's Engineer Village Community (across Highway 550) and is 24 miles north of downtown Durango (less than a 30 minute drive).
Enjoy the convenience of being near the ski resort, yet have the privacy and additional space in a luxurious residence with a two car garage. The resort is both an amazing winter playground, and it also offers a wealth of all your favorite mountain activities in a cool and comfortable summer climate at 8,900 feet in elevation. For ease, there is a free on-demand shuttle to the main plaza near the lifts at Purgatory Ski Resort in winter.
The residence is perfect for multiple families and has been outfitted to be the ultimate vacation rental with an almost endless list of amenities including a private hot tub and a huge heated covered deck with an outdoor dining table and couches, gas fire table and a BBQ Grill along with amazing mountain views. Additionally, there are 2 separate living spaces on different floors, an Arcade Game, Cable TV, high speed WIFI, a fully stocked kitchen and awesome views from almost every room. The residence is also one of the few properties in the area that features central AC.
Each of the four King bedrooms has a TV and attached bathroom. Note the 2nd living space downstairs is considered the 5th bedroom as it has 2 queen and 2 twin beds.

The home is not pet friendly. Please do not bring your pets or service animals. Please note there are exterior security cameras in the front and back of the home (of course there are no interior cameras).
For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.
Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Beautiful, well stocked house that our family enjoyed very much. Great views, quiet area and very well kept. 8 adults and 4 small kids had plenty of area to play outside in the snow. Quiet cul-de-sac gave a great place to sled with 4 young grandkids. Highly recommend!!

A beautiful home! We had 12 family members and all had their own 'space.' The kitchen has everything you could think of, and more. The heated deck, gas firepit and grill were well used. The beds are very comfortable and nice to have ensuite bathrooms. We had a few questions that were answered quickly. We added the use of the pool/workout facilities and used it often. This was a wonderful rental for our family reunion.

We rented the home for our 4 adult children, their spouses/sig others, and 2 grandbabies---it was truly specatular, very spacious. It was true to description and layout, sparking clean, amenities GALORE--I have never been to a VRBO property that has that has provided to the level that this one did. All rooms were furnished well, nice bathrooms, "first class" everything. The pictures on website--while good--do not do it justice!We especially enjoyed the outdoor area in evenings with the gas firepit---beautiful way to end each. day. We ended up cooking dinners in---because we loved the kitchen and dining so much. Lots to do in Durango, Silverton, Telluride and Ouray too!

The house was big and beautiful You have a real bad mice issue. We saw a mouse or two running around the house. There was some mice poop too. Then at night, we could hear a mouse or two in the wall between the two master bedrooms on the kitchen floor. Not sure if that’s the second floor
