Mesquite furniture, oriental rugs, antique quilts, and an abundance of hides, horns, and hats add to the authentic Texan atmosphere. Step outside to discover an inviting private pool and deck. We invite you to hang your hat!
The sleeping arrangements include queen size beds in two bedrooms, a pair of twin beds in another, and the Bunkhouse with 1 queen on the lower level and 2 full beds in the loft. All beds are furnished with top-quality mattresses and high thread count sheets. One of the bathrooms features a luxurious Jacuzzi tub, and both bathrooms are stocked with hotel style towels.
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring a private and personalized experience during their stay.
We are local hosts and are available to answer any questions that you may have throughout your stay.
Nestled in the Historic Sayles District, this residence is conveniently situated near the universities, shops, restaurants, and various venues in Abilene.
On site parking is available in the front driveway for 2 vehicles. Additional parking is available in the back, via the alley, for up to 4 vehicles.
Please note that the outdoor area includes a private pool. The pool is not gated, so please supervise children at all times during your stay.

As a part of the booking process you will be given the choice between a damage waiver or a refundable damage deposit hold. You are welcome to choose either option! This property is truly amazing and unique. We rented this for my son’s graduation party. We had plenty of room for our three sons, my parents and my sister and her husband. Every one loved the decor. We also had a small get together with his friends and thr layout teas perfect for our lunch Buffett and cake. I’m so sad we found this gem right as he graduated would have loved to stay during his tenure at ACU.

We stayed for my nieces wedding, the hosts were very easy to contact and receptive to needs. The only two downsides was the pool was dirty (hello Texas and trees, it’s unavoidable) and the trashcans outside were full upon arrival (another unavoidable if it wasn’t trash pickup day yet). Otherwise, perfect stay! My kids LOVED the secret room and we had family movie night out there. Thank you for allowing us to have a family weekend in your property!
