The appartment is a whole first floor of a house (above the ground floor) with a private entrance. It is roomy and we could all have our own space. It was easy to park nearby. We found the neighbourhood to be charming and genuine. The weather in october was quite rainy so the host set up a heater and a dehumidifier for us which made things comfortable (the humidity is very high otherwise). The host was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to all our questions.
You will need a car to get anywhere as well as to get groceries but there is a good supermarket in the next village, 5 mins away by car. There are tollroads nearby and you can easily get to Porto (about 35 mins) or for example Espinho (25 mins) with a great beach. We had a lovely time and we hope to come back to this village and house again.

We moved from another place on short notice, and they were very accommodating. We visited Porto, Aviero, braga Arouca, 516 bridge and Gaia. It is located in a little town and is on a private street where we could park right in front. It was walking distance to restaurants and various things. Not a lot of businesses in the town but we purposely wanted a quiet place. The apartment was on the first floor, which is one up from the ground, and what was the equivalent of a house. Enjoyed our visit very much.

Beautiful apartment, very welcoming owners. We really have enjoyed staying there. Half an hour drive to the seaside.
