About this apartment rental
Enjoy over 2,200 square feet of living space with the large balcony, the huge roof terrace with outdoor dining set and your own private jacuzzi. This apartment is perfect to be enjoyed for a family or group of friends. 2 blocks from world famous 5th ave, and 5 min walking distance to the beach. It's the perfect location since by walking distance you have all the amazing spots that Playa del Carmen has to offer.
One of the greatest parts of Playa del Carmen is the wonderful weather - typically in the 70s and 80s year round - so why not enjoy it outside! Enjoy outdoor jacuzzi. Grill fresh food on our charcoal grill. Star gaze on our expansive roof top terrace with several lounge chairs and large dining table and chairs.
The apartment is very well decorated and appointed. On the walls you will find nice artwork. Adorning the counters there is nice, quality touches like glass vases and figurines. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality appliances sure to satisfy any cook.
Our penthouse is divided into 2 floors. The top floor houses the huge rooftop with private jacuzzi, set for dining, the sun umbrellas and the lounge chairs.
The first floor hosts the internal apartment. The main bedroom has 1 king size new bed, a private bathroom and a large wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 new individual beds, a chair and a large wardrobe.
The first floor of our penthouse hosts as well the modern marble kitchen with stainless steel appliances, hot and cold fresh water cooler and breakfast bar. Next to the kitchen is the dining area with table and seating for 6. Adjacent to the dining area, our living room houses comfortable and ample seating and a Led HDTV. Off the living room is another private balcony
My penthouse resides in the Paraiso Magico Condo only 2 blocks away from the pedestrian shopping and dining boulevard of 5th Avenue, and is only 4 blocks away from various beach clubs. DAC, a fresh fruit and veggie market is only 2 blocks away while the Mega, a large supermarket is right behind the building. The condo has a cleaning service, 24 hour security and a spacious ground floor parking.

I have 6 other apartments available for rent in the building. All are located next to each other so in total you could sleep 30 people. So, bring the whole family and your friends.
Reservations of 7 nights or more will include 1 bottle of wine and a basic cleaning service in the middle of your stay.
I can come to pick you up at the airport for an extra charge.

The building is 5 min walking to the famous 5th avenue with restaurants, stores, shopping mall, bars and nightlife. While 10 min walking there is the ferry to Cozumel island and the city bus station (ADO) that connects very well to the area.

As we were traveling to Playa del Carmen I got a message that there was an electrical problem at our place and that the hosts were putting us up at a hotel nearby. They did exactly that and it was a lovely hotel and stay for two nights. Up to that point communication had been excellent and it still was to a point. I realize that trying to know when workers are going to be finished with a project is difficult. On day three a woman arrived with a car and said she was there to take us to the apartment. She took two of us and luggage but never returned for the other two. The apartment lacked a television and the Super Bowl was a couple of days off. Again yes we would get a TV but when? They can’t depend on TV guy to fix it in a timely fashion. We did get a TV in time for the game but we should have had a TV from day oneThe dishes. And kitchen supplies were OK not great. We had to ask for a new fryingpan as the teflon was coming off. The place sleeps six but there is a 5 cup coffee maker A real plus is that they give you provisions for breakfast but you have no idea what they have. After buying several items we found out that they were included. A list should be provided. Two rolls of toilet paper provided per bathroom for two weeks. Most everything we asked for we got but never sure how much and whenTwo of us were fluent in Spanish. That helped but if you are not it could be a bit frustratingThe place was clean, spacious, bright and cheery. Big supermarket in the next block

It is big but really doesn’t have much furniture.Two decks on the main floor have no furniture at all except pots for the plants. The roof deck is very large, the beautiful wood sun chairs on it have no cushions, none are available. There are no umbrellas. There is a shade up there though, over the dining table. We had to buy a fry pan, all the pots and pans supplied, except one, were pealing non stick. The coffee maker is tiny. A bit of sewer smell in the bathrooms on occasion, water pressure marginal. European washer/dryer, very clean, people are very nice, English isn’t spoken, we don’t speak Spanish but everyone tries. Worked fine for us. We traveled there without the language, they were very patient. .Right next to a large grocery/variety store and a great fruit and veggie place is a couple of blocks. A big street taco area is also very close. It is about three blocks to 5th Ave, all the shopping and restaurants you could ever go to. A couple of large malls in addition to the tourists shops along 5th. A couple minutes to a few beach clubs past that. The ferry to Cozumel is about a 15 minute walk. Three mini split AC units keep the place comfortable. Liked the security. There was a doorman there pretty much always.
