About this house rental
Summary:
Welcome to our fully remodeled oasis, perfect for your relaxing getaway! Our home features a chef’s kitchen, three bedrooms, private hot tub/shower and a shared pool with our adjoining rental. Enjoy the river access across the street for swimming or letting your puppy get in a run and walk around our bucolic neighborhood. This home is located close to the Sonoma County Airport, wineries, and world-class dining, making it the perfect choice for river getaway. Profile has links to all our homes.
The Space:
Unlike our other rentals, this is our personal home and has been updated with luxurious amenities we are sharing while we travel, including:
- Italian marble bathrooms with bidet bathroom;
- Italian Marble covered built in cabinets throughout home;
- Fireplace
- 8 person private hot tub;
- Private outdoor hot shower;
- Fully stocked kitchen;
- Multi-level outdoor decks;
- Shared pool with our next door rental;
- River access is directly across from our home;
Unwind in luxury designed to take in the spirit of the Russian River and all our community has to offer.
**Note, the casita bedroom is off the back deck and not directly connected to the home. Walking across back needed to access kitchen/house.

Guest Access:
During your visit, you will have exclusive use of the hot tub and front/back decks. The pool is shared with out next door vacation rental - the lodge house. A board is at the pool to reserve 2 hour periods for private use if desired. The beach has 2 access points, the longer stretch directly across the street and a more shallow kid friendly beach access 6 doors down the road.
The Neighborhood:
While this retreat feels like a sleepy river neighborhood, you are surrounded by everything you need. Wineries as surround the area for tours and tasting, (we recommend Korbel - one of the oldest in Sonoma County!) and you explore bucolic drives past vineyards as you visit St. Helena, Kenwood, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and Calistoga. This area is best known for its wines, but there are some of the best breweries in the area too. If you like beer, be sure to visit Russian River, Bear Republic, and Lagunitas breweries.
Visit shops on Mainstreet Guerneville (1 mile), Armstrong Redwood partk (3 miles) or drive west to the ocean and small villages that dot west Sonoma county for antique shopping or hikes and relaxation.
Getting Around:
Downtown Guerneville is one mile from our home and easily accessible via car, bike or walking. To avoid walking the narrow windy road, we recommend parking at the end of Neeley road and strolling across the pedestrian bridge into the heart of downtown.

PETS:
While we are happy to share our home with family pets, we ask they do not sleep on the beds as fur becomes a significant issue for cleaning the sheets and duvet covers.
PLEASE NOTE A $50 PET CLEANING FEE will be requested when pets hair adds significantly to the cleaning of our homes.

It's a calm and peaceful property with foot access to the Russian River across the street.
Ubers were impossible to get, and the local taxi firm never called us back, so just be aware to have a transportation plan in place. You can walk to town 1.5 miles or swim across 400 meters.
