One-bedroom apartment for 4 people with a large living area with open kitchen and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower cubicle and a large balcony. The apartment is located on the second floor of Palazzo Candiani, a modern complex with gym and garage near the Politecnico and the Milano Bovisa station and has all the comforts: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, TV, fiber internet, air conditioning.
The living area, made bright by the French window that opens onto the balcony, is furnished with a double sofa bed, a TV unit and a table that opens onto the modern kitchen, which has all the appliances, crockery and utensils for lunch or dinner for 4 people. The room is furnished with a double bed and a 3-door wardrobe. The apartment is on the second floor (with lift).
Palazzo Candiani is a modern complex with 19 apartments for rent of different types (it is possible to rent more adjoining apartments), and has a gym and garage available for guests (check costs with our customer care service). All apartments have the most modern comforts and an automation system to manage the temperature of every apartments and the opening and closing of doors and windows.
The apartment is located in the heart of the Bovisa district, home to the Politecnico di Milano and therefore a lively district full of bars, restaurants, clubs. Bovisa is also a historical district, with its own city center and period buildings, and it is well connected to Milan city center and the main stations.
From Bovisa station (a few minutes' walk away) there are frequent connections to Centrale, Porta Garibaldi and Cadorna stations, as well as all the stops on the urban railway link (Passante ferroviario). From Bovisa station also direct connections with train to Milano Malpensa airport. The yellow underground station of Dergano is about a 15-minute walk.

I stayed at this property while picking my daughter up from her study abroad program and the location was convenient to her dorm. The apartment is quite a commute to city center but I knew that going in and was fine with it. The issues were with access to the property and lack of host response to problems. When I arrived the link that was supposed to open the outside gate and building door would not work. I called, texted, and e-mailed the host but ended up standing outside for over 30 minutes until someone left the building and let me in. When I finally did hear back the host insisted that the link worked and told me I would have to contact VRBO. Luckily there were keys inside the apartment as the link did not ever reliably work during my stay. This might be due to the spotty cell service of my international plan so be aware if you are international guests.The hall lights were also burned out so that it was very difficult to see the keypad on the door, which was also difficult to work. Finally, the television did not work. It was missing whatever box or antenna that would provide a signal and it is not a smart tv so I could not even access any streaming leaving the TV completely useless. I texted the host and they never responded. This apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable and it was spacious. It was just very frustrating that so many things did not work and the host was slow to respond or entirely ignored me.
