If you're looking for a home with LOTS OF ROOM, this is the one for you!! It's huge! Plenty of room to spread out for sure! (We actually lost one of our kiddos in the house in a random bedroom taking a nap) :0) The pool was a great reprieve for the hot weather! I will say that it is somewhat dated and may need some updates aesthetically. (Upstairs bathrooms specifically) One of the oven doors doesn't close all the way and needs repaired. We also had to buy a tank of propane because they were empty after one use. (Whoever takes care of the details may need to have a checklist of some things). All these things were reported to the host, so hopefully they will be taken care of for the next renter. It's close enough to drive to Lake Michigan for the day which is a blessing to be able to have both the lake and countryside living....yet so close to town for all the things!

Holly was amazing to work with! She was incredibly helpful, and easy to work with in planning our visit! The home has incredible living/gathering spaces both inside and out! And the front porch swing was wonderful! Well stocked kitchen! Only caution when bringing a large group is to pay attention to the bedroom configurations (trundle beds) with the number of adults coming. We ranged in ages from 3-84 and it was perfect for everyone!! Thank you Holly!

We had a great weekend at The Gathering Place. We had 19 family members. The property had plenty of room for all of us to hang out comfortably. The porch is a great place to spend the evening with family.
