Grove Barn is beautiful barn conversion in the stunning village of Carisbrooke, a lovely village on the outskirts of the Islands capital, Newport. Carisbrooke is best known as the site of Carisbrooke Castle.. 1 step to entrance.

Hot tub for 4 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are steps in the grounds of this property.. You can enjoy the views of this historic castle from Grove Barn whilst relaxing in the hot tub. ThIs fabulously decorated home sleeps up to 5 guests. The ground floor has a living area with a wood burner for those cosy chillier evenings. There are exposed beams everywhere, creating a lovely romantic atmosphere. The surrounding countryside and rolling meadows are great for leisurely walks and cycling. Nearby in Newport and you will find an array of shops, restaurants, and cafes. A mile or two out of Newport and you will find The Monkey Haven and Robin Hill Country Park. Hours of fun for all the family.
If a day at the beach is what is needed, then you are in luck. Whichever direction you travel you will find beautiful beaches, travel west and you will be spoilt by miles of unspoilt beaches. If you are lucky enough, you may find a fossil. Travel south and you will find the resorts, of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor, with its sandy or pebble beaches, amusement arcades and lots, lots more. The isle of wight is also home to one of its most iconic sights, The Needles.

A fabulous week with family to recharge. Very dog friendly for our furry family. The only recommendation I would have would be a gate at the front to secure the dogs once in the barn. The barn was spacious, clean and well equipped and the hot tub was spotless and an added bonus. Amazing hosts who ensured comfort of guests was top priority and so generous with their welcome hampers (which was incredible and contained something for each of us as if it had been hand picked) and the thoughtful gift to celebrate our anniversary. As 4 adults and 3 dogs we had plenty of room and our own space. Would highly recommend as is perfectly situated for exploring the Isle of Wight and a lovely relaxing place to come back to. Thankyou for hosting us.

The barn is situated in an ideal location. Plenty of walks about and local bus stops. A lovely view of the castle. Everything you could possibly need is available in the barn and the welcome pack is thoughtfully packed with goodies. The wood fire made the evenings cosy. And the hot tub was a lovely bonus. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
