Location was great, house clean, communication with VRBO & Real estate company was very good. Saw fish, manatees, turtles, all kinds of birds, & devil ray fly out of the water-AWESOME! Water was emerald green, clear and refreshing. However, 4 stars given due to: kitchen needs a 13 gallon garbage can & cabinets/shelving for food! No dressers in 2 of the rooms to store clothes. No throw rugs or runners provided inside at doors or beds to catch the sand on feet. Only a broom which does NOT clean up sand. May consider a light weight vacuum available to guests. May also consider yellow turtle lights for outside, we rescued a baby turtle in path going toward house lights rather than the towards moon/gulf. Upstairs in closed porch/living room needs curtains: extremely hot & glare when afternoon sun comes in.

This was our 2nd booking for this home. Obviously we keep coming back for a reason. The location on the island and to the beach can’t be beat. However the property itself is somewhat under whelming not in function but aesthetically and with cleanliness. Inside the floors were filthy, and the table surfaces I’m positive weren’t cleaned in a while. I specifically inquired about rugs upon booking. I was told there were rugs. There are all tile floors and still no rugs at either door in which to clean the sand from one’s feet. The remnant piece at the outside back door did nothing. I’m sure I sound like I’m picking it apart, but I’m not . It is a great location and home. I just think a little updating of furniture and decor and thought put into basics would go along way. Definitely do it a third time I’m sure ..

We had a great time, the house is great and updated. Beautiful views of the gulf from the top floor and easy access to the beach! Would love to stay here again
