The whole family will love only a 250-metre walk down to the beach & 10-minute walk to Sunshine Beach village. The house was nice! Everything was clean. Views were great. Being close to the national park was good.
We booked because it was advertised as "walking distance" from the beach and restaurants. Technically it is. However any of the routes to the beach and restaurants are down significant hills - then you have to come back up the hills to get home. There is no way you'd be able to take kids to the beach with all the "beach things" and make it back up to the house. You'd also not be able to dress up for dinner and walk there or back easily.
A better description of the property would be "beach views and short drive to the beach and restaurants."
Not knocking the house itself, just the description as we thought we'd truly be walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

We recently stayed at this property - it was everything the pictures promised. We went with 3 families with 6 teenage children and the set up was perfect. Could not recommend more highly.
