Welcome to Magnolia River Haus!
Vacation like a local in this newly built luxury home situated just 2 blocks from downtown New Braunfels! In addition to the inground pool, guests of Magnolia River Haus will have direct access to the crystal clear Comal River through nearby Beavers’ Bend. This large 6 bedroom/4 bath home can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. Perfect home for larger groups with plenty of room to enjoy your time together! The furnishings of the home is as follows: The primary bedroom #1 features a comfortable king-size bed & large wall-mounted flat-screen TV. French doors allow guests to walk right out onto the shared wrap-around porch patio for morning coffee. The primary en suite has a large walk-in shower and double vanity.
Bedroom #2 on the main level of the home features an additional king-size bed with a shared hall bath. Guests staying in this bedroom will also have access through additional French doors leading out onto the shared wrap-around porch.
As you make your way upstairs, you will find a spacious loft/lounging style room with a Queen size pull-out couch. Bedroom #3 will feature a King size bed, Bedroom #4 will have a Queen size bed and lastly, bedrooms #5 & #6 will both have 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeping a total of 8).
The outdoor living space features an inground heated pool with plenty of outdoor seating. The home also offers a Bluetooth Sonos speaker system for your enjoyment of the outdoor space. Additionally, you will have access to high-speed wireless internet throughout the home.

Additional fees could apply if we find that your pet was allowed on the furniture or beds or if we find it was left unnecessarily messy because of the pet, and/or if we find damage to any part of the home.

Really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean, comfortable, and had everything that we needed. We had a total of 6 kids and 4 adults, so the bunk rooms were a perfect fit for us. The pool was nice and wonderful to have to play and relax in after floating the river. If we make another trip to New Braunsfels, we would absolutely choose to stay here again. Close access to town and the extra service of the tubes and golf cart being delivered to the house was wonderful.The only critique we had was regarding the river access. I'm not sure if this is maintained by the owners of Magnolia Haus or the nearby property and they just grant access to the renters, but we did not utilize this access due to the vegetation overgrowth and abundance of mosquitoes breeding there. Some is to be expected given it is a natural river, but better maintenance of the vegetation could help prevent some. It is definitely not an access point that you can use to relax by the river - just get in and float to the next exit point.

We loved this property! There were twelve of us, eight adults ranging in age from 40 to 70, and four children, ages 6, 9, 12, and 12. The house was immaculate. The kitchen was perfectly clean, with everything you could want. We shopped at the local H.E.B. before we checked in, so we cooked a lot at the house. There were a lot of tasteful touches, like a wicker basket that held the pool towels.My favorite part of the house was the shower in the master suite. I got that room all to myself, because this trip was for my 70th birthday and my family insisted I take that room. The shower was heavenly. Lots of water pressure, lots of hot water. It was great! (Everyone else was happy with their bathrooms too.) We had rented two vehicles, which fit neatly under the house, next to the two golf carts we also rented. It was such fun, taking the golf carts to nearby restaurants and running errands with them. I think everyone's favorite activity though was tubing on the Camal River. We rented tubes from the same people who provided the golf carts, and everything was there when we arrived. There's a river access point very close to the house, but we used one a little farther away in a city park; I'm not sure why, but my son-in-law had scoped everything out on arrival and thought this was better.The pool was lovely and clean, and the furniture around the pool was very comfortable.If I have my way we'll come back next year!

This was a clean and lovely house. It was perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip. We had originally scheduled and booked this house for June 2025 but my father ended up having open heart surgery and would not be recovered for us to go on our trip to Schlitterbahn. They were very accommodating and let us reschedule for a later time so we chose to rebook for November over Thanksgiving. We were so very grateful. Great management and communication and we would definitely stay here again.

Only issue was the floor needed to be mopped a bit better, other than that it was very clean. Any communication with the host was prompt. Loved the location, walking distance to some restaurants and bars, Gruene, the river. We were there for my daughter’s Batchlorette weekend.
