About this cabin rental
Giant's View Lodge is a breathtaking vacation rental cabin located in Keene Valley, mid-way up Porter Mountain in the Adirondacks. Peacefulness and privacy abound here, amidst a wooded backdrop with incredible views of Giant Mountain and the Southern end of the Great Range of the High Peaks. The sunny clearing features a gently sloping yard with lovely perennial gardens, a 50 foot wraparound deck, and a large screened porch for dining or enjoying the panoramic mountain views.
From the lodge it is only a 2 mile jaunt to "the Garden" (hiking trailhead), from which countless hiking and skiing trails can be accessed.
The lodge is a custom-built, 3,400 square-foot, beautifully appointed log home, with hardwood floors throughout, a fieldstone fireplace dominating the Great Room, cathedral ceilings, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen/dining area, complete with granite counters and new stainless steel appliances. Providing lodging for up to 12 adults, sleeping areas include four bedrooms plus a spacious sleeping loft, accompanied by three bathrooms, the master bath featuring a 2-person shower and 2-person deep soaking bathtub. Adirondack furnishings abound, and of course, floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere.
Extra fees per night for more than 4 guests are automatically applied at a rate of $25 per person. Note, this rate will be manually adjusted to $40 during peak season. If you have children under 15 years old, contact us for special family rates.
Pets are allowed at a fee of $100 per pet. Note, if you have more than one pet, VRBO will not automatically add the fees for the additional pets. Contact owner to arrange the extra pet payment.

Our stay at Giant’s View cabin was a one of adventure and tranquility! The cabin itself was very warm and inviting. The views of the mountains were spectacular! Our favorite part outside of hiking and fishing was rocking in the comfy chairs in the screened in porch. The weather was hot while we were there but we stayed cool by utilizing the provided fans. We even got to see a family of deer crossing in front of the cabin. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from it all in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains!
