Family fun for all awaits at this spacious, recently remodeled, waterfront home on the scenic shores of Bass Lake. The gated entrance leads into a private, fenced-in yard, with a large lawn overlooking the lake. There's a massive lakeside deck complete with picnic tables, chaise lounges, as well as a private beach area and a gated ramp that connects to the private boat dock. Inside, this lodge-like home features a great room with a wide lake view, a card table, a three-stool wet bar, and a wood table with seating for 10. Gather around the stone fireplace and big-screen TV in the living area or retreat to one of the five bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with its own gas fireplace, balcony, shower, oversize tub, and lake view. Other amenities include a tankless water heater, high-speed WiFi, 4K TVs with Roku in all rooms, and a backup generator that automatically turns on to keep the air conditioning or heater going if the power ever goes out.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a wonderful spot for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away.

Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Outdoor fires are no longer permitted, no access to the firepit.

Vacasa was responsive over text. They came out promptly to resolve the issues we were having with two of the TVs. We were just saddened to realize upon arrival that the lake was so dried up our son couldn’t fish off of the dock. We had inquired before booking if he would be able to fish off of the dock and the response was yes.

Loved how close we was to the lake kids loved it as well. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of beds. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to be close to the lake.

The property is amazing. We love that it has a dock kids loved jumping off it. We even pulled our boat up to it. Made everything easier to load and unload. The house was amazing had plenty of space and bedrooms. Definitely recommend if you have a big family or you bring friends it will hold you all.

This was a lovely home, and was very big and spacious. That being said if you're not booking this during peak water levels just be warned this is right on the edge of the lake and you probably will not be lake front and you will not be able to use the dock. This wasn't made clear when we booked the property which was a big disappointment given that this property is literally called "lake front". It would be nice if Vacasa did a better job warning when they suspect lake levels will be low and accordingly give you a heads up when you are booking the property given it is very much on the edge, so anytime lake level is a bit low the dock would be unusable. If you are hesitant about your timing and want a private dock, I'd suggest going with a different property.
The upstairs shower also did not work, although there were 4 bathrooms so we were able to work around this. The house missed the mark on some of the little details such as no laundry supplies (so if you plan to do laundry bring your own detergent) or extra lake/beach towels so just come prepared.
Other than that though the property was really spacious and had a great outdoor patio to enjoy. Was clean, the kitchen was spacious, and great for a big group!
