About this apartment rental
Sandy Toe’s and Salty Kisses overlooks the Caribbean Sea at Sugar Beach.
Relax on the palm lined beach during the day, and be caressed by the Caribbean breezes at night.
Enjoy the view of swaying palms and turquoise blue seas.
Our beachfront, 2 bed, 1 bath condo is tropically furnished and enjoys wonderful offshore breezes.
The master bedroom has a Queen bed and large sliding doors that open to provide a wonderful cross breeze throughout the unit.
The second bedroom is an open floor plan loft bedroom up a spiral staircase.
Two twin beds are in the loft sleeping area.
The unit has Central A/C should you need it….
The newly remodeled and fully equipped kitchen has all appliances, including a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and blender.
The living room has Streaming TV and a DVD player and FREE WiFi.
There is dining for 4 inside and patio table/chairs outside for al fresco meals and cocktails.
The bathroom has also been remodeled and features a wide sink area and tiled shower with beautiful glass block.
A rental car is recommended to get around the island, but taxi’s are plentiful too.
Sugar Beach is a private complex conveniently close to Christiansted for dining, shopping and groceries.
Grill your dinner poolside on the gas BBQ or dine at one of two restaurants in walking distance.
Relax by the large pool, play a round of tennis or shoot some hoops at the basketball court…all on site.

SARGASSO Update:
The Caribbean Sea has been experiencing higher volumes of Sargasso sea grass in recent years. This sea grass can wash up and pile on the beach and create an unpleasant smell as it decays. It is most prevalent on the North and East side of the island. In large amounts it prevents enjoyable use of our beach.
The west end of the island has beautiful beaches that are almost always sea grass free.
The Sargasso grass is most prevalent during the hotter months of late July - September.
This condition is unpredictable on a week to week basis and something that is totally out of our control. As a result, unfortunately our current policy must be that we cannot issue refunds as a result of Sargasso.

The apt was great. We really Loved the view to
The ocean right from the living room, which made our breakfast spectacular. The unit has it’s own washer & Dryer which made it very convenient to have our clothes clean at times after a long day at the beach. The apt it’s located very near to supermarkets / gas stations / restaurants around the area. We really enjoyed the property pool & BBQ area. Bob was amazing , He assisted us promptly when needed. There was an issue with the A/C caused by some repairs made on the outside of the building, we contacted Bob, He help us out getting in fixed promptly. He was also very knowledgeable about where to go in town. I will recommend this place for a great family getaway.

We were very satisfied with this stay. The place was clean, tidy, and had great amenities like AC, dishwasher, and in unit laundry. This was for a work trip so we didn't get out to the beach or pool much but the view was great and the balcony perfect for early breakfasts. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern stove/oven for cooking as well as many pots and utensils. The owner apologized for the sargassum on the beach, but we actually think it smells nice!
Fun things: There's a cute orange cat that lives in the complex and occasionally tries to get inside. Wish we had cat food! It was very friendly.

In the listing it states: Hair dryer available & coffee maker
NO hair dryer existed, therefore I had to wear a hat or visor everyday (not what I wanted in every picture). Manager could not tell us if it was a Keurig or regular coffee pot. So we went prepared for both.
Keurig was missing a piece and the 4 pot maker did not heat up at all.
Cleanliness: not bad, some things not dusted. Inside of condo run down a bit, needs some updating.
Listing also does not tell you, condo is in the middle of the projects.
I considered it “projects”, apparently when resorts go under they are turned into government housing. Which is right behind this condo (1 street in between). Did not feel safe going out after dark because of location.
Pool was nice and you are steps away from the ocean.
However NOT a gated resort/condo!
I would not stay in this location again, I don’t even think my spouse and I would go back to this island. However, it was an adventure and we saw one end of the island to the other.
