About this cabin rental
The “Heron’s nest” is 4 stories. No steps to the main floor, which consists of a fully equipped kitchen, 8 person dining room table, full bath (one of three), Living room with a queen sized sleeper sofa, plus a large bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a single roll out bed in the walk in closet. Down stairs to the walk out basement, there is a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a full bath, washer & dryer, TV room with a two queen sized futon sofas, mini-fridge & wet bar. The TV has DVD. The room walks out to a concrete patio with your Hot Tub 2 steps out your door. The Charcoal/wood grill is here, along with your campfire area, right along the river’s edge! Stairs lead down to the River’s edge, but the river has unfortunately, continuously swept our dock away during yearly winter flooding. Up to the 3rd floor is the loft, which has an open view of the River. Full bath, and walk in closet. Up the spiral stairs brings you into the cupola, our 4th story. There is a fold down futon couch, our 3rd pull-out. Your covered deck has a gas grill with lp gas. Beds sleep 6, pull out couches 6. “Heron’s Nest” sleeps 10-12. Everything is provided except your food & drink. WEEKDAYS: Monday – Thursday $220.00 per night for the 1st two people. Additional guests are $12.50 each, per night. WEEKENDS: Friday – Sunday $230.00 per night for the 1st two people. Additional guests are $12.50 each per night. MAJOR HOLIDAYS: $245.00 per night for the 1st two people. Additional guests are $15.00 each, per night. THERE IS A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM ON MAJOR HOLIDAYS. THERE IS A 6 PERSON MINIMUM ON HOLIDAYS.

It was well worth the money and had just a wonderful time with our family. Michelle and Bud are very accommodating and if we ever had any problems or anything they were right there everyrime. It's a beautiful place to be. My family and I loved being there and really didn't want to leave!

We love our stay there we were there for I days and they were well worth it! Michelle and Bud are great if we ever had any questions they were there to answer ever question and even told us places we can go!

Overall the property is an older cabin on the lake. It was clean but not detailed clean. There are carpenter bees all over the porch but they don't bother you too much. The biggest issue is the basement and plumbing. The basement smells like mold. And then also in the basement the p traps become dry and you get sewer gas soooo bad. We filled the shower up just like the note in the bathroom said but it constantly became dry and smelled. If you have issues like this I feel it should be in the listing. If the smell issue wasn't there it wasn't a bad little spot.
