- Rural Setting: Being in the countryside means you may encounter local wildlife and bugs. We encourage you to embrace the nature around you!
- Historic Home: As an older home, you may hear occasional creaks. The cozy bathrooms may have varying water pressure, adding to the vintage charm.
- Climate Control: The farmhouse does not have central A/C, but we provide window units and fans to keep it cool on hot days.

Everything was lovely. Nice touches like fabric to cover furniture from the dogs. So many places to sit around the property and enjoy the views. My dad and uncle had so much fun looking at all the trees and picking some pears.The air conditioners in every room were great. The whole house was kept cool and it was a hot weekend.

This house is magical. We came here needing rest and stop on vacation. I recently lost my grandmother, and staying here â in a place clearly shaped by the love of another grandmother. It brought me comfort. It inspired me with ideas for preserving my own grandmaâs legacy. Thank you for creating such a special place. We hope to return someday.

We stayed at Barn Owl Hill Farm for 3 nights. I canât say enough good things about this place. I love history and this house is full of relics from the past. Itâs like stepping back in time but with all of the modern comforts. Itâs full of antiques but is probably one of the cleanest rentals Iâve ever seen, especially for its age. It was a hot weekend but rooms had A/C and we all slept really well. We were there for a family reunion and my auntâs 90th Birthday so we didnât get to spend a lot of time at the house. I would loved to explore a bit, walk around the property, walk down to the cemetery, but just didnât have time. A couple family members stopped by to see the place. They have lived the area for years and drove by often but never had a chance to see the insides. They were all amazed of how well maintained it was. Everything went smoothly and I canât think of any issues we had. Itâs on well water so you might want to bring your own drinking water but they tell you that upfront. Thanks so much for making it a wonderful weekend and I would 100% come back again.
