About this house rental
We rent our house located about 400m from the beach of Port Manech and 100m from the Pouldon slipway and the Aven coastal path. View of the Aven ria from the first floor.
The house is composed of:
- 4 bedrooms, 1 of which is on the first floor (CH1: bed of 160; CH2: bed of 140 + bed of 90; CH3: bed of 140 + bed of 90; CH4 on the first floor: 2 beds of 90)
- 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) the upstairs one has a WC, + 1 separate WC downstairs - (the sanitation system was completely redone in November 2025)
- Kitchen open to the living/dining room
- Garden of about 800 m2 (garden table, barbecue, deckchairs)
The bedroom on the first floor is composed of 2 single beds that can be glued together to transform the bed into a double bed (180cm wide)
It is a simple and charming holiday home, easy to live in, built in the 1970s and passed down by our ancestors: we have been keen to preserve certain furniture and decorative elements that bear witness to its history and are in a way its signature.
Provision of 4 bikes, a 2/3 seater canoe, 2 paddles with a liability waiver at the time of booking. Launch 100 m walk from the house on the Pouldon slipway.
Wifi ok, but no TV ;-)
Sheets and towels in addition via ALE concierge management. (+20€ per person)
You will have the opportunity to go hiking (GR34) from the house, to practice water activities (canoeing, paddle...). A sailing school is also present on the beach.
Bar, grocery store, restaurant, bread depot in Port Manech center (1Km). Supermarket, pharmacy, fishmonger, post office, bakery in the village of Nevez (5km).

Great location and great equipment-paddle board and kitchen stuff. Very quiet. Loved both beach and river although sea very cold! Found Magic Stone. Ate twice at le Chanteraign on beach, first time good but 2nd disappointing. More info on other local restaurants, preferably non touristy ones would be good including advice on booking. Septic tank a problem but luckily for us not until the last night of stay. Our family, young and old, all enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank-you!

Nice house close to the beach but the house who host 8 people has only one toilet and no TV!!!
For an area with a lot of rain, it is not ideal!
