What an amazing holiday. We spent a week here with extended family and absolutely loved it. There is more than enough space for everyone and all the rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen is certainly large enough for us as a family of 11 and it was really nice using the dining space for our evening meals together. The cinema room was an added bonus and we all loved playing the Wii for a bit of retro fun. The location is perfect also, just by the lake. There's certainly enough to do in Bala at the lake with swimming and kayaking and it's in a great position for exploring further afield. We took a trip to Portmeirion, climbed Snowden and enjoyed day trips to the coast. The hosts themselves were super helpful and couldn't have done enough for us. All in all a great break and one which I would highly recommend.

This is our second stay at this property and it was once again, everything we wanted. The weather wasn’t great and with children to entertain, a walk across the road and we were in the leisure centre where there’s a great swimming pool plus slide. The house was great for relaxing, the kitchen enormous so all the chefs in the family could work alongside each other as one was outside bbqing. We will be returning again next year, we absolutely love coming to stay. Thank you

The photos really don’t do this house justice, it’s stunning and in a beautiful location - across the road from the Lake Bala watersports centre and less than 10min walk into the village high street with shops, pubs and restaurants. We loved every second here, very magical place.

We rented the house for the weekend and it was great. So much room and everything you could need for a very special break in a great setting.

A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. We definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Bala in North Wales for its facilities and location.

For 5 days, my family of fourteen people aged 1 to 62 comfortably enjoyed their stay at "the castle house" as the four-year old called it. The whole place actually looked nicer in person. The little kids enjoyed the toys in the games and play-room, we played the piano and sang in the lounge area, some watched a little TV. The kitchen was wonderful! People seem to always gather in the kitchen and it held us! The house is walking distance to town where we could buy groceries, or for the older ones, go to the pubs and meet the friendly locals singing Karaoke. The consensus of all was that it was a great place.
