ManVee Lodge at Yosemite - Just 2 miles from the south gate entrance to Yosemite

We had a great stay. Plenty of room to have some friends over to play cards.

The cabin was cozy. The kitchen had what we needed for cooking. The location was great. Plenty of towels and bedding. The TV was a little hard to figure out. The fireplace was very nice along with the supply of firewood. We could not find matches or a lighter though. Overall, a nice place.The following is comments to the owner...There were a few things that could have been better. I found notes plastered all over the place to be annoying and distracting from the ambiance of the cabin. A notebook/binder would have been more pleasing. The light in the dining room was quite quirky and flickered all the time. The large plate with the big yellow candle in the middle of the table was greasy and dirty, so gross for on the table. The washing machine was slimy with detergent on the top and operating panel. The drapery rod by the sliding door fell off when we tried to close the curtain. The heater in the main bath didn't work. We didn't use the dish washer because it was a portable one, too much bother and no notice until we were there.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Nice location but property has some deferred maintenance and was lacking basic amenities. Owner was responsive but should not have needed to ask for toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
