About this cabin rental
You will enjoy this cozy, western themed cabin in the quaint village of Fish Camp. The cabin has two private bedrooms with queen sized beds, a pullout couch and large couch in the living room. The cabin has been completely remodeled in 2017 to blend modern comforts with rustic roots. Amenities include wireless internet, television, oven/range, washer/dryer, newer Mini-splits heating and cooling units that allow individual temperature control in the rooms, and large outdoor patio complete with dining table, gas BBQ and propane fire pit.
Trails End cabin is walking distance to the Tenaya Lodge, which has restaurants, day spa, bar, and bike rentals. It is a short 2 mile drive to the southern gate of Yosemite and Mariposa Grove. There is also Horseback riding at the Yosemite Saddle and Sleigh Co. and train rides at the Sugar Pine Railroad within 2 miles. The community of Fish Camp can prove difficult for parking but not for Trails End cabin guest who enjoy off-street paved parking for more than 3 cars and a drive-thru driveway, which you will find to be very convenient. Location was great! Kitchen had most everything we needed including basics like salt, pepper and other seasonings. Also had parchment paper and foil. Could have used some sandwich baggies to pack snacks and sandwiches for the day. They also had laundry detergent pods available although we brought our own. Beds were comfortable.

Lovely rustic cabin. It had everything we needed for our Yosemite portion of our vacation. The western decor was a fun touch. We cooked a meal each day and the kitchen appliances were in good working order and there were plenty of pots/pans, etc. Yosemite Valley is about an hour drive away and the nearest town with groceries/gas/dining is a 20 minute drive. Not complaints, but just notes for others: the mattresses were on the softer side and the clawfoot tub, while charming, requires several shower curtains encircling the tub to prevent water from getting everywhere, which made the space feel really tight.

Overall, an excellent stay! The property was just as described and the location was perfect for quick entry into Yosemite. Everything we wanted and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
