The view far into the landscape. Completely renovated 70 year old wooden house with charm and atmosphere, only 2 km from the city center and 1km to the indoor pool Uslar. The forest with extensive hiking trails is almost directly behind the house. Hikes and walks can start directly from the house, as well as mountain bike or bike rides. Sightseeing tours to Corvey, Furstenberg, the Weser or the fairytale castle Sababurg are wonderful 1/2 day tours

Eclectic home, amazing view. Not in the forest as we thought, but very close to it (easy walking distance).
Lots of adventures to be had in the vicinity and a bit further away.
Lived the breakfast outside while listening to the birds!

We had a nice stay in this cottage. It had a great library room where we had our breakfast and dinner. Also nice equiped kitchen. Although we missed a microwave and toilet role holders. Very nice was the bath, spacy and comfortable. The cottage is also very close to the town of Uslar and really close to super markets. Really nice!

When you walk inside this holiday house you feel at home. Very comfortable and clean also nicely decorated with comfortable sofas and a great terrace with beautiful view. We barbequed a lot and in the evening it was great to sit outside with a glass of wine and only hear the birds singing. That’s vacation!
An enormous garden which was enjoyed very much by our kids (boy 7 yr and girl 4 yr) to play tennis and football. Nearby are several supermarkets (REWE, Lidl) and also a great bakery which is also open on Sunday. Also an indoor swimming pool is 2 min drive and the outdoor pool in Volpriehausen is only 15 min away. We enjoyed ‘das Erlebenis Wald’ and Wildpark Neuhaus. You can get a great pizza at Pizzaria Dolce Vita or eat out at Hotel Menzhausen.
We just had a great time and it was a joy to stay in such a beautiful family house!
