About this house rental

Just a short distance from the ocean, this smoke-free vacation home lets you experience it all. Cavalaire Landing Beach is within an easy 8-minute walk and Plage de Bonporteau is also a quick 14-minute walk away, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking.

Spend some time at the nearby beach (enjoy the sun loungers!), relax by the heated pool, or sip a drink in the garden of this vacation home, which also features a deck or patio. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. And you can even travel light because you'll have access to laundry facilities. Other amenities include bed sheets, an ironing board, air conditioning, and heating.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in this house, but our first-day experience was quite disappointing. Upon our arrival, the person who let us in communicated with us through translated messages to French. She showed us around the house and gave us the keys. However, just 15 minutes after her departure, we discovered there were no bedsheets provided, despite the listing clearly stating that bedsheets were included. We messaged the host, and she mentioned that she would need to ask the owner about it. After a while, we received a message stating that if we wanted bedsheets, we would have to pay an additional €150. This was quite unexpected and felt like a joke. Fortunately, after explaining that bedsheets were listed as included, she eventually dropped them off. I would advise future guests to double-check and confirm all the inclusions before booking to avoid any disappointments. Additionally, the cleanliness of the shower room left much to be desired. The shower curtain had noticeable stains, and there was black and orange mold inside the shower. One more thing to note is that we paid for a heated swimming pool, which we learned about from reading reviews rather than from the property description. This could be clarified in the listing for future guests. Despite these initial hiccups, our stay improved, and we appreciated the features the house had to offer. Thank you.
