"The tiny home was in a private and peaceful location, surrounded by wilderness and an ocean view. Hummingbirds and rabbit visited the site in the mornings. "

About this house rental

WEST COAST OF VANCOUVER ISLAND EXPERIENCE LIKE NONE OTHER...

Listed as one of the ' Top 10 *off-the-beaten-path Stays ' on 'Vancouver is Awesome'!

Custom built 200 sq.ft. oceanfront tiny home on a private 3 acre wooded lot overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Ideal for a romantic couples vacation getaway. A one hour drive from Victoria on the stunning west coast Highway 14, with great access to parks, beaches, hiking trails, world class surfing, fishing and much more. An incredible natural environment! The unit can have max 2 people.

The exterior is cedar with a very cozy interior and abundant natural light. It overlooks the ocean in a private, natural setting with a large partially covered outdoor deck. There is an indoor fireplace, table/bar with stools, fresh linens and towels, large outdoor shower and outhouse / toilet, fire pit, BBQ and sun deck. The sleeping area has a queen sized bed.

* Covid Precautions
We are taking every precaution with the safety of our guests and cleaners.

Guest access:

You will have access to the lower bench of the acreage and cabin. There is a very rustic steep trail to the beach from the cabin, which is not recommended for use.

Other things to note:

There is no TV or Wifi in the home to help you re-connect with yourself / partner and nature.

There is also limited cell service once you pass the town of Sooke. Sooke is the last stop for groceries, supplies and gas enroute from Victoria. While there a number of restaurants a short drive away and a great coffee shop (the Cold Shoulder), guests should consider bringing groceries from Sooke (or Victoria) before heading up. There are condiments in the kitchen (salt/pepper/olive oil) including a coffee and Kerrig machine.
