Just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest beach, or take in one of the many local attractions and beauty spots along this amazing coastline. Local picturesque seaside town of Sooke is just 12km away with fabulous restaurants, galleries and shops, offering many local facilities and possibilities including fishing excursions, kayaking, and whale watching. Port Renfrew is just an hour away with amazing beaches and parks; Botanical Bay has rich tides pools and stunning geological features. Just an hour in the opposite direction takes you to Victoria, British Columbia’s capital city, where charm and adventure await.

The cottage is as advertised. Great location, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. Loved saying hi to the ducks, roosters, chickens, goats, and sheep.

Fabulous as always. This was our third stay - close to beaches and trails - and the marvellous potholes! Clean and comfortable, and superb hosts. Thanks again, we will probably return in '27

Great place to stay. Hosts are amazing and super friendly. Place is clean and comfortable. The animals were super fun amd funny. Would recommend to any and everyone. Thanks guys!

Kitchen set up was good but the tap on the sink is broken and some of the outlets didn’t work. There is a squished dead bug on the container next to the paper towel container which shows the level of cleaning.There are cobwebs throughout the house. Specially in the corners of each room and the starfish picture in the bathroom.It would be a nice to have tissue in the home so that we didn’t have to use toilet paper to wipe our noses. The appliances were not very clean ie the kettle, keurig. The trashcan looked like it has never been cleaned. The deck has a rotting wood with a hole which is a safety hazard. The fireplace was nice.All in all it’s a cozy place but needs to be thoroughly cleaned to make it more comfortable and less icky.
