Pelican Sands 401 is a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beachfront apartment perfectly positioned on the fourth floor of the iconic Pelican Sands Resort in Tugun.
Set right on the sand with no roads to cross, this light-filled apartment captures sweeping 270-degree ocean and hinterland views stretching from Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise. Watch the waves roll in, spot whales in season, or simply relax and take in the ever-changing coastline from one of three private balconies.
Designed for relaxed coastal living, the apartment features an open-plan layout with comfortable furnishings, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a smart TV. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors bring in natural light and frame uninterrupted ocean views from the living space.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including quality appliances, plenty of bench space, and a dishwasher—perfect for easy holiday meals after a day at the beach.
The master bedroom opens directly onto its own private balcony overlooking the ocean and features a queen bed, while the second bedroom includes two single beds plus a trundle, making it ideal for families or small groups.
There are two bathrooms, including a main bathroom with a shower and full laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer for added convenience.
Step outside and enjoy direct beach access just metres from the building, or take advantage of the resort-style facilities, including a swimming pool, heated spa, sauna, gym, BBQ area, and games room—all set within landscaped beachfront grounds.

Keys are to be collected from and returned to our office at 76 Griffith Street, Coolangatta. Our office is an approximate 9 minute drive south of the property and 6 minute drive south of the GC Airport.
Linen
Linen is not provided at this property. Holiday properties are equipped with blankets/ doonas and pillows and protectors, however please remember to bring your own personal linen including sheets, pillow cases, towels and tea towels. Linen can be hired at a reasonable cost; we will provide details once your booking is confirmed. We also suggest you bring with you soaps, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper etc.

Apartment was a little dated (which is fine) but appeared very clean with beautiful views. Unfortunately we weren’t aware it was the only apartment in the complex not managed by the onsite building management so felt a little awkward on arrival (although reception was friendly). The disappointment for us was the lack of facilities as described - appears to just be a miscommunication however we were unaware the pool, spa, sauna and games room were all closed for renovations. The staff at GCHH appeared to not be aware either, they apologized and did try to assist with a small discount if we stayed however we made the decision to leave staying at a more family friendly property not too far away. Traveling with a young family we chose this property for the on site facilities so was disappointing they weren’t available. On the other hand we appreciate miscommunications May happen but would’ve preferred a more substantial discount. We were lucky we could re-pay for our holiday elsewhere but not everyone would be in that position so it could easily have lead to a poor experience. Booking process was easy and the welcome pack was a nice touch.
