The Dahlke's live right behind the property and are very nice people. My family of 4 included me, my husband and twenty-something son and daughter. There are 3 bedrooms which is great. Two have a single twin bed and the third bedroom has a double. Another plus was the washer and dryer located in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. You will need to bring your own paper towels and Kleenex. There is a full-sized dining table and a small living room. The location is perfect. We visited Burg Eltz, Marksburg castle, St. Goar and Rheinfels Castle and took the Rhine river cruise up to Baccharach. Everything is less than an hour's drive. Note that all grocery stores and pretty much everything else is closed on Sundays AND there are a lot of German national holidays that aren't listed in the guide books which means additional closures. Of the first 10 days of our trip, counting Sundays, there were 4 closures. This is a great place to stay. It is clean, quiet and you have space!
