About this cottage rental
In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, near the Way of St. James, at an altitude of 840 m, 1 hour from St. Étienne and 1 hour 45 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, in a country hamlet, this single-story cottage, adjoining the owners' residence, is located in the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park.

The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Haute-Loire region, combining nature walks with its varied landscapes, numerous hiking and cycling trails, its wonderful villages, and cultural visits:
- Bourianne lava flow (5 km),
- medieval village of St-André de Chalencon (11 km),
- La Chaise-Dieu (24 km) (sacred music festival, abbey church),
- Craponne-sur-Arzon (4.5 km) (country music festival, all shops and services). The cottage is located on the ground floor of the house adjoining the owners' residence (the upper floor is unoccupied).
You enter the living area, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and lounge/TV area (raclette and fondue sets are available upon request).
Across a hallway, you'll find the bathroom, toilet, and three bedrooms. The first double bedroom has a double bed. The other two bedrooms are adjoining but each has independent access. One, open to the outside through a bay window, has a double bed, and the other has two single beds.
Various board games and a small library.
Baby equipment: travel cot, bathtub, high chair, and stroller upon request.
Outside, the entrance and grounds are independent and not overlooked, with a private enclosed courtyard and garden. The cottage features an enclosed courtyard (100 m²), a grassy relaxation area, and a carport for parking your bicycles, which can also be used as a large covered terrace. It also features a barbecue, garden furniture, and a table football table. From Craponne-sur-Arzon or Retournac, take the D9. La Motte is 1 km from St-Georges, on the D9, near the Renault garage.
