We had a great few days here, the location was great, communication fantastic, the kids loved the sledge run right next to it, a green button within a stones throw, it was comfortable and practical, we would stay again.

M Hazan's chalet met our needs perfectly. The chalet is clean and comfortable, and the person who met us to let us in on behalf of M Hazan (I am not including her nam to respect her privacy) was charming and very helpful. The chalet is close enough to walk to everything in town, yet not right in the bustle of town. With snow on the ground it is true ski-out/ski-in - ski boots on in the ski room downstairs, easy short walk up slope, put skis on and ski to the Bossonnet lift, and when done skiing ski back on the Le Var trail. Highly recommended.

We have just got back from a lovely week in this chalet. We were 8 people consisting of 4 adults and 4 kids (14, 14, 12 and 12).
Firstly I think it's worth mentioning the downstairs is much roomier than it looks in the pictures. The kitchen is a good size with plenty of utensils / pots and pans / cutlery and a modern electric oven and induction hob. The kitchen table seats 8 with a bit of a squeeze, but there is also the dining room table that seats 6 comfortably. There is also the lounge area with the tele that is lovely to relax in in the evening.
Downstairs at the back of the boot room is a double bedroom with ensuite shower and plenty of built in storage. There is also another bath / shower and separate toilet downstairs. Upstairs are another 3 bedrooms, 2 of which share a Jack and Jill en-suite toilet. 4 doubles wasn't ideal with 4 kids as it meant 2 had to sleep on the floor. My one suggestion would be that maybe the owner could consider making it 2 doubles and 2 twins for maximum flexibility. There was a pull out sofabed in the lounge but none of the kids fancied sleeping there, instead we took the single mattress from it upstairs.
The boot room itself is brilliant with a big bench to get your boots on and plenty of storage for 8 pairs of skis and boots and all the associated clothing.
Next is the location. It's hard to describe a better location for any chalet. The green run runs about 20m at the back of the garden. From here you can ski in 2-3 mins to the bottom of the Bossonet lift. Coming back it's possible to ski right to the door either along the green Var run, or cut down from the blue Plan run. We also found that from the top of Patinoire lift you can ski as high as you can toward Bossonet chairlift, ski under it then cut across the 2 button lifts to get home without having to ski Motte and Plan (both have some uphill sections).
Town is a 5 min walk away with the Bali Bar being the first place you will find. It shows football and drinks are about the cheapest in the resort (5 euros a pint). A bit further on are lots of nice shops / bars / restaurants. Some people might prefer to be actually in the town itself, but for me I prefer the short walk in return for silence at night time!
We had a brilliant holiday and this Chalet was a big part of the success. I just hope it's available next time we want to book!!!
