About this apartment rental
The “Nordseebutze” vacation rental is situated in a prime, historic location, just a short walk from the town center of the beautiful old knight’s town of Esens. Transportation by car or bicycle to the nearby North Sea spa town of Bensersiel and the close-by North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel is excellent. You’ll be staying northeast of Esens’ town center.
The North Sea spa town of Bensersiel and the beach are only four kilometers away and are located directly within the unique natural wonder that is the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009. You can easily get there by car, bicycle, or by bus—which costs just 1 euro with the Nordsee-ServiceCard and is a short walk away.
The “Nordseebutze” vacation rental is ideal for a cozy North Sea vacation for two. The vacation rental is thoughtfully designed and furnished, very cozy, and very well-equipped. In its approximately 45 square meters, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation, such as a small but fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher. The furnished balcony is ideal for enjoying leisurely moments in the fresh air.
From the “Nordseebutze” vacation rental, it’s just a short walk to the pedestrian zone, “Steinstraße,” and to the market square of Esens, known as the “Bear Town.” There you’ll find lovely shops for a leisurely shopping spree, as well as plenty of opportunities to browse and marvel. There’s a diverse selection of dining options, including cafés and restaurants, both indoors and outdoors.
We’d be happy to tell you all about the attractions of our cozy and charming town of Esens—which is over 475 years old and features a historic town center—and, of course, the “highlights” of the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. For example, we also have plenty of events, both big and small, as well as museums. Or you can simply enjoy some true peace and quiet on our balcony.
For example, head north by bike across the idyllic East Frisian marshes and, if you like, along the “Benser Tief” to Bensersiel. This way, you’ll reach the beach at a leisurely pace and feeling refreshed.
Of course, you can also get there by car in just a few minutes, but by bike—depending on the route you choose—you’ll reach the sea and Bensersiel in about 4 to 6 kilometers, completely relaxed and at peace, having already breathed in plenty of healthy sea air, and you’ll be able to particularly enjoy the beach and the many tourist, spa, and vacation facilities.
Our location is ideal for long walks, bike tours, and explorations of East Frisia’s unique natural landscape. This way, you can experience your North Sea vacation in an active yet relaxed way and make the most of the North Sea’s invigorating climate.
You can reach Bensersiel or Neuharlingersiel by car in 5 to 10 minutes. You can also easily reach both of these coastal towns and North Sea spa resorts by bus.
The North Sea spa town of Esens-Bensersiel has plenty to offer for relaxation, sports, and recreation—for example, beaches with playgrounds and beach chairs, swimming pools, tennis courts, surfing spots along the dike, fitness facilities, beach volleyball, fishing opportunities, and much more.
Soak up the sun or explore the beautiful surroundings of Esens-Bensersiel and the vast landscapes of East Frisia by bike.
