About this cottage rental
In a hamlet about twenty minutes from Le Puy-en-Velay, André and Huguette welcome you to their childhood home. This tastefully restored small farmhouse will be the ideal place for a vacation close to nature. The house is pleasant to live in with its carefully designed interior, its living room opening onto a terrace (9 m²) and the large, unfenced, grassy and flowery courtyard (400 m²).
In the picturesque Loire Gorges, on the GR3, you will admire the magnificent landscapes of a countryside that opens into the distance to the Mezenc du Meygal and Margeride mountains. Nearby: Goudet 4 km away, Arlempdes 7 km away (the Loire, medieval village, castle remains), Costaros 6 km away (shops, services, weekly market on Monday mornings), La Beaume Waterfall and Bouchet Lake 15 minutes away, Le Monastier 30 minutes away (abbey church, museum of popular beliefs, brass festival), horses and horseback riding 800m from the cottage. On the ground floor, a living room with TV and wood-burning stove has direct access to the grounds. Two steps up: laundry room (washing machine), toilet.
On the 1st floor: the mezzanine kitchen overlooks the living room and opens onto the south-facing terrace (table, 4 garden chairs, parasol).
On the 2nd floor: 1 bedroom (1 double bed), 1 bedroom (2 single beds), shower room, separate toilet.
Outside: Large grounds. A secure storage area is available: 4 deckchairs, 2 sun loungers are available, and you can also store your bicycles if you have any. The courtyard is enclosed but not enclosed. The house adjoins the owners' second home (occupied in summer). Fishing equipment is available from the owners.
Baby equipment: crib, high chair, bathtub.
INCLUDED: End-of-stay cleaning (dishes and trash are the responsibility of the tenants)
EXTRAS: Electricity over 8 kWh/day, bed linen (€8 per bed), towels (€5 per person), fuel if used (€15 per day), wood (€5 per wheelbarrow)
