About this cottage rental
In the village of Alleyrac, a village of 120 inhabitants, this 2-star communal gîte is an ideal starting point for short hikes accessible to all. Whether on foot, by bike, or with a donkey (Rando-âne, 50 meters from the gîte, offers donkey rentals by the hour, day, or longer), the village boasts a network of marked hiking trails on the Mézenc plateau and bordering the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. In the Sucs de Breysse, a biological site remarkable for its flora and fauna, the landscape was shaped by ancient volcanic activity. A circuit starting from Alleyrac offers a chance to explore them. For winter sports enthusiasts, 10 km away, the resort of Les Estables offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow kiting, a toboggan run, and more.
In the hamlet of Malhac, the Béate Museum is open to visitors. 10 km away, Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille offers a rich cultural offering: visits to the abbey church and museums (Museum of Popular Beliefs, Museum of the Old School, European Cultural Space), Brass Music Festival, etc. 25 km away, Le Puy-en-Velay completes the range of recreational, sporting, and cultural activities: Crozatier Museum, aquatic center, cinema, etc.

Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille has all kinds of shops and a weekly market on Tuesday mornings and a market featuring local producers every Thursday evening in July and August. On Saturday mornings, the Puy-en-Velay market surprises all visitors with the diversity of farm and artisanal products on offer: charcuterie and meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and, of course, Puy green lentils. In the heart of the village, the cottage features a large living room with a kitchen open to the living room (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, flat-screen TV). The sleeping area consists of three bright bedrooms, the first two of which have a double bed and built-in wardrobes, and the last one has two twin single beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. There is a separate toilet.
Barbecue and garden table are available in the cottage's private, enclosed courtyard.
