Explore the exciting surrounding countryside, including Mugnano, the ancient village of the "painted walls". Also visit the medieval village of Magione with traces of the Romans and Etruscans and stroll through the narrow streets steeped in history and antiquity. On the way, you can take a break with a glass of wine in one of the street restaurants. In nearby San Feliciano, you can stroll along the shore, eat fish or take the ferry to the small romantic islands of the lake. There are smaller and larger bathing bays all along the lake, including some with sandy beaches. The two larger towns on the lake, Castiglione del Lago and Passignano, offer a variety of restaurants, bars and stores for a stroll. In addition to the beautiful lake, where you will find equipped beaches everywhere, it is worth visiting the fascinating art city of Perugia, which boasts a multitude of sights, art treasures and museums and where it is also worth strolling through the small, characteristic alleyways and across the piazza.
