About this cottage rental
Welcome to ice fishing season! Year round lake loving at the “Lake Life” cottage…….Boating, fishing, family! This secluded cottage sits directly on Lake of the Isles and a short walk to DeWolf State Park. Accessible by private driveway with plenty of parking for 3-4 vehicles or launch your boat at DeWolf State Park and in 30 seconds, arrive at the cottage and moor your boat during your stay. Surrounded by mature trees, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. *****Newly drilled well 12/24 Inside, the cottage has 3 bedrooms (bedroom 1-queen and twin futon chair; smart tv; bedroom 2-1 queen; bedroom 3-two full beds and smart tv); 1 bathroom with stand up shower and a combined kitchen/living room with sofa bed. A deck off the living room offers a great view of the lake with plenty of outdoor seating and a smoker. As you walk down the stairs towards the water, you will find a charcoal grill as well as a screenhouse with a table and chairs to enjoy meals outside. There's also a fire pit and outdoor tv. Grab firewood from around the property or bring your own. At the water, there is a large floating dock. You'll enjoy swimming and great fishing from the dock. Fishing poles and kayaks are available for your enjoyment. (Floating dock will be removed for the season on October 31st)
Self check-in; Two night minimum stay April-June; Sept-Oct.; 7 night minimum stay July and August. If you need less than 7 days, reach out and we will see if we can accommodate.
For security reasons, we did recently install a camera at the back of the cottage to see the parking area and entrance to the walkway. We know that sometimes guests may have friends of family in the area. If you plan to have additional guests visit beyond what you registered, please reach out to us first as we want to be respectful of our neighbors and do not want large parties.
Please let us know when booking if you plan to bring your pet (Dogs allowed. No cats please.) You need to make sure you monitor your pet at all times. The deck is gated if you wish to have your dog loose. Please make sure your dog stays on our property and does not run into the neighbors' yards.

The property was very nice and just as pictured. It was full of amenities and supplies. The host was very attentive and even stopped by to take care of something. We had a great month there, and those in our family who visited all enjoyed their stay and loved the cottage as we did.
