Wonderful location and a good house that is in rough and ready condition. The main bed was comfy and clean. The oven is possibly over 60 years old and only cooks the bottom of food. There is an air fryer and an electric pan which kind of compensate. I will say be careful of the driveway which needs repairs if your driving a sedan, impossible to drive over without damaging the undercarriage and I would ask the owner to have the cleaner vacuum under the lounges please, they are very easy to move and dust mites are horrible! That said, its really a reasonable place for the price, with a few fixes it would be brilliant.

As in the past we had a great time at Blackhead. There were a few broken bars on bunks and wall sockets and some of the bedside table lights are broken but the new air fryer was a great addition and helped for quick meals.

Location great, accommodation overall okay. It’s 2025 to not have wi-fi or air con is sad. Only 2 pedestal fans, 1 of which did not work. And photos of accommodation was very deceiving.
